Course Overview
Advanced photographic techniques will be explored, building on skills learned in Photography 1. You will learn to further take control of your cameras, including the digital slrs, the point and shoots, and your phone cameras. You will continue to develop your skills of composition and image manipulation.
A major difference from photo 1 is that much more will be required of you creatively and in class participation. There will be regular in class critiques plus you will be required to personally teach the class a lesson in a chosen photographic technique.
Another emphasis will be on out of class photography. You will be given regular assignments which you will be expected to fulfill on your own. You will be able to check out a camera if you do not have access to one of your own.
